Spring Time

The annual Easter Egg hunt at the school is always a lot of fun. Preston was the chosen lucky one that got to help Caroline.

When I asked Caroline to get ready for her picture, she put her arms up. That seems ready. Emery wanted to show me all of his teeth, or lack thereof.

Easter Lunch

So good

On Saturday morning I went with the youth from Horseshoe Bend and met up with all of the rest of the youth in the Emmett Stake to surprise President Walker. Each one of the kids had written him a note thanking him for his years (19) of service in the stake, and then put them inside these Easter Eggs. The kids then put them on the trees all over his property (he has a lot of beautiful mature trees).

When President and Sister Walker showed up he was totally surprised (his wife was in on it with us). The kids ran down from the trees to surround them and sing to them. President Walker and Sister Walker were very touched. It was wonderful.

Winter

Grandma Moore bought the girls some cute outfits and they decided to "dress them up" with a few of my accessories. Cute Caroline

We were sad and proud to see Joel's parents leave for their 18 month mission to Panama. We already miss them, but love reading all about it in their letters!

Joel and I went to Hawaii to celebrate our 17th year of marriage. It was wonderful. We even went on a helicopter ride to see the "Jurrasic Park" waterfalls that can only be seen by helicopter. So cool.

We also had a great view of the sunset and breaching whales outside our hotel room in Kauai.

Zip lining on Kauai was also a lot of fun, several feet off the ground. Kauai is a tropical rain forest.

As soon as we got home, we got right back into the winter activities... skiing at Tamarack with our favorite people, our kids. Here is the view from the top.

Ammon also started drivers training. He drives in this very inconspicuous car, so no one will drive near the "student driver". He has had a few 'rough' drives, but we are confident that he will be a good driver...someday. What a great boy!

December Parties

Joel's brother Dillon came home from his mission. He ended up flying home on the same connecting flight as his friend Jared Black (also returning from his mission).

Preston hooked the sled up to the four wheeler and pulled the little kids around. They loved it!

Ammon turned 15 on December 21st. How did he get so old? How did we get so old? He invited all of the seminary kids over to go hot tubing, eat chicken noodle soup, and watch Nacho Libre.
